Whether you already have a vision in mind for your proposal, or you’re just getting started, I take a collaborative approach that ensures a smooth planning process, and a proposal that feels authentic and unique to the two of you. I really hope to honor this special moment in your love story!

I photograph proposals with a telephoto lens so I won’t be in your faces. The goal is that you both won’t even notice a photographer is there, and that you’ll be able to fully live in the moment and just enjoy it. I take a non-intrusive and laid-back approach after the proposal moment, giving you guys time to celebrate and taking lots of candids, until you give me the cue to step in to take some posed photos. I keep any poses we do after the proposal simple, fun, and fast, so you guys can spend the rest of your day celebrating!

My hope is to provide a beautiful and honest gallery from your proposal will allow you both to remember the awesome range of emotions and excitement that you felt, and to cherish such a special memory in your love story!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Definitely! I can recommend several beautiful and public locations throughout Amelia Island, St Simons Island, Jacksonville, and surrounding areas. If you’re interested in proposing at a more private place such as a museum or restaurant, I can help with contacting the business to ask for permission and coordinate plans.

  • I offer sessions with no travel fees throughout coastal Georgia and northeast Florida. More specifically, this includes these cities & surrounding areas: Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, Jacksonville, St. Augustine, St. Augustine Beach, Palm Coast, Jekyll Island, Cumberland Island, Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Sea Island & Savannah.

  • Most of the proposals I’ve photographed were truly a complete surprise, where the person being proposed to had no idea it was coming, or that a photographer was there to capture. Or, some proposals have begun as a couples photo session, then the proposal happened as a surprise during the session. I can give planning advice based on whether you want it to be a complete surprise, or if you want it to be during a photo session.

Process

1. Booking & Planning

To book your proposal, a 25% retainer & signed contract will hold your date and time slot. I’ll help with planning the location and timing of your proposal either via a phone call or text/email, whichever is most convenient for you. 

2. The Proposal

Once we have a solid plan made for how to make the surprise happen, I’ll shoot candids the moment unfolding from a distance with a zoom lens. After giving a few minutes for you two to celebrate together, I’ll introduce myself to your new fiancé and take some posed photos, any photos she requests, etc.

Within 24 hours of the proposal, I’ll send a preview of 10-15 images. Within 7 days, I’ll send your full gallery of the proposal and portraits, all edited, retouched, and ready to download, share and print! The online gallery will be available for downloading your images for 3 months. A print and share release will be included as well.

3. Delivery
