Approach

  • I keep sessions laid-back but still efficient, so we can cover all the “must-have” photos and still have space for everyone to relax and just have a good time. A lot of my clients end up saying their favorite images were of unplanned, natural moments that just happened to unfold.

    My hope is that your portrait session will feel like an excursion on your vacation or a relaxing evening spending time with your family!

  • I offer posing guidance to help ensure your images are flattering, while still allowing you to feel comfortable and natural.

    I’ll guide you through a variety of classic poses and groupings, then give prompts that lead to candid images with movement and a storytelling element.

  • I love collaborating with clients to create sessions that feel uniquely “them”! I give general guidance on locations, lighting, outfits, etc., but if you have a vision in mind or ideas you’d like to try, let’s go for it.

    From discussing location or posing ideas that you love, to helping you design a gallery wall of prints to put in your home, it’s a priority to help you enjoy your images best- this is documentation of your life’s precious memories!
